Quality Inspector

in our Calgary facility working 40 hours/week (Monday - Friday).
THE ROLE
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all pharmaceutical products are manufactured in compliance with
Health Canada regulations
,
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
, and company quality standards. This role involves performing in-process and final inspections, reviewing documentation, and supporting continuous quality improvement within the manufacturing environment.
DAY-TO-DAY
Inspection of incoming materials and outgoing products.
Conduct line opening and clearances for packaging operations.
Verify that manufacturing operations comply with company procedures,
Sampling of compressed air, in-process bulk intermediates and finished products.
Perform basic laboratory tests such as pH and conductivity readings.
Cleaning verifications of production equipment.
Review labels, batch records and logbooks for completeness and accuracy.
Perform monthly environmental monitoring and support cleanroom compliance activities as required.
Perform weekly water sanitations and verifying water quality.
Support validations team in validation activities such as hold studies and process sampling.
Support warehouse to ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
Collaborate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to resolve quality issues in real-time.
Participate in deviation investigations, non-conformance reporting, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA
)
Support QA in internal and external audits and inspections.
Participate in training programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality risk assessments.
Other duties as requested.

IDEAL FIT
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences
, or a related discipline.
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or quality assurance/quality control preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Annual WHMIS training
TDG Certification
Medical Clearance
Clear Police Background Check

On-site
in SE Calgary
GMP compliant facility
40 hours/week (Monday - Friday)
On site pharmaceuticals, chemicals and hazardous materials present.
