Quality Inspector - Electrical

to join our

Mount Pearl, NL Office.

The primary purpose of the position is to develop and maintain testing for electrical equipment and components.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Incoming inspection and testing of electrical equipment and components including PCB's, wet cables, sonar arrays, sensors, and various other electronic equipment Collaborate with other departments to streamline flow of materials from supplier to production Development of inspection and test procedures as part of continual improvement initiatives Assist test, engineering, and production teams where appropriate Actively participate in Materials Review Board meeting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of electronics technology program (or equivalent) with at least two years' work experience Excellent written and oral communication skills (technical reporting and engineering documentation) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures Experience in the use and maintenance of electronic test equipment Experience in the use of inventory systems High degree of organization with the ability to prioritize tasks Attention to detail Process-driven Self-motivated with strong work ethic and can perform under minimal supervision Experience in subsea industry an asset Electronic troubleshooting experience is an asset Knowledge of dimensional mechanical inspection is an asset * Previous experience in ISO9001 environment is an asset
