Job Role & Responsibilities
Inspect and test raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, and inputting data into quality databases.
Identify and report deviations from quality standards to the quality lab supervisor or shift supervisor.
Compliance & Safety
Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Qualifications/ Skills:
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical or vocational training in quality control or manufacturing is an asset.
Previous experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) is an asset.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
Comfortable standing for extended periods.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
