The incumbent will be responsible for actively leading all area operations and processes to ensure all products meet/exceed established Quality System standards. Audit product conformance to customer specifications, drawings, and other related instruction pertaining to the quality of the product and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products in a safe and well maintained work environment. Completion of all required customer specific documentation for product conformance.
Responsibilities:
Actively lead all area operations and processes to ensure all products meet/exceed established Quality System standards.
Direct associates to achieve established quality/production goals.
Ensure compliance to established Customer, Company and other requirements (ISO, FDA, NADCAP, Controlled Goods / ITAR, UL, etc.).
Perform visual and dimensional verification of product conformance using all appropriate measurement gauges and measurement equipment (including software).
Verify product conformance at various stages of the process which include incoming, first-off, in process, and final, according to current quality procedures, instructions and drawings.
Use statistical process control techniques according to customer requirements and characteristics/parameters deemed critical as listed on quality instructions.
Ensure seamless product changeovers by providing timely part quality signoff.
Prepare part labels and package parts according to quality instructions (if required).
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma required
Quality or technical certifications and/or courses related to quality would be considered an asset
2- 5 years of manufacturing experience
Assertive self-starter with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees in a team based environment
Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities in a process/production environment
Effective verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization (including customers/suppliers, as required)
Ability to teach, coach and mentor associates with varying learning styles
Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Experience with Quality System Requirements, such as ISO 9000, AS9100, NADCAP, Controlled Goods / ITAR.
Must be able to work off-shifts and weekends when necessary to cover vacations
Reliability is a must
