Location Description
Post Consumer Brands in Cobourg, Ontario is home to more than 140 team members and produces the majority of the company\'s Non-GMO Project Verified and organic products. Cobourg\'s historic downtown is just a short trip from the plant, perfect for an after-work walk on the towns many pathways and beautiful parks. At Post, you\'ll not only be a part of a collaborative manufacturing team, but also the community, with the opportunity to participate in a variety of volunteer activities throughout the year.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the plant Quality Assurance program. Assists Operations in the identification and implementation of quality improvements. Assists Engineering in the identification and implementation of structural and mechanical designs to support food safety and GMP practices. Assures compliance with applicable quality, food safety and regulatory standards. Support, implement, and maintain food safety, food safety culture, and quality practices as required through SQF. Will be responsible for completing job duties in a manner that supports all plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental practices. This position has shared responsibility as SQF practitioner and/or back-up practitioner.
