Position Overview



The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality of products from design to production, supplier management, and final delivery to customers across various sectors.

They will support in implementing and maintaining the company's quality management system (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

The Quality Engineer will work closely with design, procurement, production, and suppliers to ensure that all components and final products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Collaborate with the Director of Operations and cross-functional teams during product design and development stages to establish product-quality control plans and testing protocols. Define inspection criteria and standards for new and existing products in the preparation of Product quality plan documentation. Assist in supplier selection and qualification by conducting supplier audits, reviewing their quality systems, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Implement supplier quality agreements and monitor supplier performance through incoming inspection, quality reports, and corrective actions. Resolve supplier quality issues by working with suppliers to develop and implement corrective actions. Maintain and regularly update key quality documentation, including Control Plans, Inspection Plans, Non-conformance Reports (NCRs), and Corrective Action Requests (CARs). Support implementing ISO 9001:2015 processes, including process control, risk management, and continuous improvement. Ensure all documents are appropriately controlled and aligned with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and also align to the specific compliance needs of the customer. Collaborate with projects/production, suppliers, and QA to keep records accurate and current. Implement and maintain document control procedures to track revisions and ensure documents are available when needed. Assist in internal and external audits for ISO 9001:2015 certification and other relevant quality standards. Train production and inspection staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and problem-solving methods.

Required Qualifications



Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. Eligible for registration with EGBC Minimum of

3-5 years of experience

in a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to design, product quality planning, and supplier management processes. Must have experience working in an ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of quality assurance processes.

Preferred Qualifications



Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or related certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt) is a plus but not required.
