As a Quality Engineer Intern, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for helping us continuously improve product quality by analyzing the successes and challenges we experience bringing dynamic LED lighting to many of the world\xe2\x80\x99s most extreme and magnificent projects. You will work with the Field Quality Engineering team to help with customer issue resolution, prevention, and continuous improvement for the Color Kinetics architectural LED lighting business. You will also work with the Quality Lab Engineers and others to assist in creating and executing validation test plans for new products.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

Analyze customer returns from the field to understand the cause of failure.

Work with regional customer satisfaction groups to identify and collect pertinent site information.

Help identify and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability.

Use and develop tools to gain insights from field quality data.

Use lab equipment to reproduce field failures and test new designs.

Develop test plans for new products and special projects and perform quality validation testing for new products.

Your qualifications

Senior at an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, or related, and able to work 40 hours per week.

Comfortable with electrical engineering fundamentals as well as setting up and using electrical lab test equipment.

Eager to learn about quality, electrical and other engineering functions, architectural lighting, and communicating effectively for your audience.

Self-starter comfortable handling multiple priorities.

Previous internship/co-op experience a plus.
