The candidate for this position should be comfortable working with all levels within the organization, and suppliers.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Provide technical direction to quality inspectors and employees in manufacturing.
  • Participate in the development and optimization of incoming and in-process quality control procedures.
  • Manage suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 issues and supporting insourcing process.
  • Work with production and SMT team to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Improve quality management processes including but not limited to Document Control, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Quality Auditing, Insourcing processes.
  • Identify when NCRs are needed and participate in the successful implementation of corrective actions.
  • Participating in the review of nonconforming product and materials as required, including identifying root cause analysis and non-conformance investigations.
  • Improve continually existing operation, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Support production change control activities, including maintenance of Control Plans, and manufacturing producers, work instructions.
  • Present to management on various quality related performance metrics such as: rework, scrap, NCR\'s.
  • Help in incoming and in-process inspection for electronic components.
  • Train, coach employees in process development and IPC training.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering.
  • Good to be an IPC-A-610 certified trainer or willing to be a certified trainer.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal, written, technical presentations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work with teams to develop solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, and proficiency with statistical methods.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to undergo security clearance process for export controls: CGP, ITAR.
