Quality Document Coordinator

Job Description


Vaco has partnered with our client to hire a Quality Document Coordinator to join their team. Candidates should be skilled in technical writing with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Distributes draft and final versions of documents under review, in coordination with all appropriate departments to ensure that appropriate departments are involved in the review and approval/authorization process.
  • Manage the lifecycle of controlled documents in the electronic document management system (document creation, review, archiving, retention and retrieval/retrieval)
  • Prepare and assist in the archiving, retrieval and destruction of documents in accordance with regulations.
  • Ensure data integrity (archiving, electronic signatures, documentation best practices)
  • Act as a technical writer, assisting in the creation and review of the content of controlled documents
Requirements
  • A bachelor\'s degree preferred, or a two to three-year college program in archival studies, documentalist, information science, library science or a combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience in electronic document control in an FDA / Health Canada / other regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech (an asset)
  • Experience with technical writing
  • Experience in Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance (an asset)
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • English & French languages
