Delivering significant sales and profitability growth, we will drive the Inland Logistics and Services business for the combined US business units for Maersk.Key Responsibilities Ensure that the customer's loading guidelines are followed Checks carts if loaded before loading to the outbound trailer. Scanning the carts to make sure they are going to the correct DC/FC. Direct floor traffic accordingly.Ensure that the trailer utilization is maximized and makes sure that trailer weight is balanced. Ensure that new docked trailers are clean and free of damage. Closing of trailers in secured and safe mode. Takes pictures of outbound loads and upload into system. Assist with training new employees. Performs task as assigned by an AOM, as specified by managementQualifications

• High school diploma/GED; College degree preferred
• 1+ years' experience supervising/managing a team of 10+ employees, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment

• Amazon Warehouse Operations knowledge (Nice to have / Not Required)
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to have the flexibility to work all shifts, including nights weekends and holidays * At times may be required significantly extended shift hours based on business need.

Preferred Qualifications: (Nice to have)

• 1+ year 3PL (Third party logistics) experience
• 1+ year warehouse or distribution experience * Warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Experience running a shift by themselves without direct management support
