Turnkey Technology Inc is a small business that manufactures plastic parts for various industries. We are currently seeking an energetic, self motivated, detail oriented, quality-driven individual who excels in mechanical inspection. Shift is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections on manufactured and purchased parts/components to ensure quality standards are met
Manage and maintain the internal auditing process requirements, including ISO accreditation requirements
Initiate non?conformance reports for products that do not meet standards
Assist and support quality personnel developmental growth and opportunities
Maintain quality control records for measuring equipment
Recommend inspection process changes which could improve the overall product quality
Assist with the ongoing development of plant standards and programs.
Enforce the QA program through communication with production personnel.
Problem solving & trouble shooting of product quality issues.
Data entry, record keeping & completion of QA forms.
Maintaining and preserving quality control records.
Maintaining product quality and improve efficiency within the manufacturing operation
work with the team to optimize delivery times of parts and assemblies
Understand and communicate company purpose and values internally and externall.
Attend daily production meetings and support assembly staff with daily planned work
Maintain a clean and respectful workplace
Continuously formulating, documenting and implementing quality control plans and processes
Assist with production activities as needed
Maintaining inventory control of raw plastic, color, and finished goods
Shipping and Receiving duties
Batch records in accordance with Turnkey's procedures.
Perform assembly work as required when understaffed or when deadlines are tightened by customers
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
One (1) to Two (2) years in the plastic injection molding industry
Excellent attention to details
Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
ISO QMS knowledge (An asset)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Positive team player with excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent communicator (both written & verbal)
Able to manage daily activities with minimal supervision
Strong judgement and leadership skills
Proficient with using Microsoft tools - Word and Excel
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
