Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality and food safety? TK Fresh Produce is seeking a

Quality Control Inspector

to join our Quality Control team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in Conduct quality inspections ensuring of incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming and outgoing produce for quality, temperature, and compliance with standards. Conduct product sampling and identify defective or spoiled items. Document inspection results, including photos and written reports. Monitor storage areas daily to identify deterioration or potential spoilage. Communicate inspection findings to buyers and internal teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for CFIA inspectors. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control documentation. Support warehouse and logistics with daily inspection activities. Follow and promote quality assurance and food safety procedures.

Qualifications

College diploma or university degree in a relevant field (preferred). Minimum

1 year of experience in food quality control or a Produce field

. Strong knowledge of CFIA, Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) regulations. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, allergen control, and Canadian Organic Regime (COR). Excellent using Excel, Word, Outlook, and digital tools for reporting. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management. Clear communicator, both written and verbal. Able to work independently and within a team in a refrigerated warehouse.
