Quality Control Inspector

Position Overview:



As a

Quality Control Inspector

, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed all quality standards. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to perform various testing and inspections to guarantee that products are defect-free and meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:



Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications. Perform measurements and visual inspections using various tools, such as calipers and gauges. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in compliance with company standards. Identify non-conformance issues and work closely with production teams to resolve discrepancies. Report any defects or deviations from quality standards to management and suggest corrective actions. Monitor production lines for adherence to safety and quality standards. Assist with audits and provide support during regulatory inspections. Maintain a clean and organized inspection area to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in quality control is an asset. Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from quality standards. Familiarity with quality control tools (e.g., calipers, gauges). Knowledge of quality control principles and methods (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to suggest improvements

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
