Key position functions include:


Dismantle and prepare equipment for repair and inspection Conduct dimensional inspections on products Complete all reporting and documentation as required Advise on and assist in creation of NCIR's for products and equipment Perform hardness testing as required Advise Engineering/Production of any missing requirements or issues with repairs (missing specifications, inaccurate descriptions, etc) Review and approve equipment for final inspection Inform Supervisor/Management of any irregularities with equipment Correct equipment deficiencies within allowable tolerance using pneumatic and hand tooling as required Organize and directly support farm-out inventory Afterhours availability when required Perform other related duties as assigned

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:


High School Diploma Machine Shop Inspection Training / experience required (minimum 1 year) - dimensional inspection, hardness testing, understanding of technical drawings Understanding of basic trigonometry A basic understanding of hand and power tool functionality Experience with wellhead and valve equipment an asset Strong mechanical aptitude, a good work ethic and willingness to learn Forklift experience an asset Experience with wellhead and valve equipment an asset Effective communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and maintain deadlines Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Knowledge of ERP software such as SAP an asset Strong commitment to workplace safety
