Quality Inspector

The Job: Quality Inspector
As a
Quality Inspector
, you'll be responsible for inspecting and approving in-process and final products before shipment. You'll maintain documentation, identify non-conformances, and work collaboratively to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect
mechanical systems and assemblies
, including conveyors, filters, enclosures, and tanks.
Verify dimensions and tolerances using
measurement tools
such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
Complete
inspection and non-conformance report
accurately and on time.
Support
root cause analysis
using tools such as the 5-Why method.
Review shop drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with
assembly, welding, and machining teams
to maintain consistent quality.
Assist in general shop tasks and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
1+ year of quality inspection experience
in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (preferred).
Strong
mechanical aptitude
and problem-solving skills.
Ability to
read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
.
Experience with
root cause analysis
and non-conformance reporting (asset).
Comfortable using
measurement and inspection tools
.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
