Reporting to the Shop Operations Manager, we are actively looking for a

Quality Control Inspector

.




Key Duties and Responsibilities:




In process and final inspection of parts and assemblies. Visual checks and physical measurement of parts and assemblies. Review and ensure compliance with all documentation requirements including ISO 9001/AS9100D. Interfacing with customers and vendors to discuss quality issues or concerns. Documentation creation and completion of NCRs, CARs, quality control sheets etc.




Required Skills:




3+ years of quality control experience, ideally in a metal fabrication, machining or manufacturing environment. Able to use precision measuring tools - micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. Understand GD&T application on drawings. Basic understanding of metal fabrication, machining, and welding process. ERP usage for planning, scheduling and managing work. ProShop ERP experience is an asset. Able to use Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and soft skills. Adaptable in rapidly-changing environments.
