What is the job?

• Generate and maintain the quality records in support of the Inspection and Test Plan

• Read and interpret production drawings and specifications - to identify quality requirements.

• Work with Production staff to include conducting inspections, including in confined spaces and aloft.

• Support customer inspections

• Ensure product compliance with established quality procedures and standards.

• Inspect various mechanical parts and components.

• Prepare inspection and non-compliance reports.

• Deal with non-conformities.

• Identify any problems likely to hinder the proper functioning of production.

• Perform the required audits in the quality system

• Understanding of weld processes, symbols, and testing requirements

What you bring to the role:

• Education required:

• Technical Diploma or equivalent experience required.

• Applicable trade certifications are considered an asset.

• A minimum of 2 years aerospace specific quality inspection and or equivalent

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in an inspection, production, or handling product role

• Computer knowledge with a focus on Microsoft office products.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle high pressure situations.

• Experience performing and participating in audits is considered an asset.
