Quality control Inspector

Diversified Machine Works has been an established machine shop in Calgary since 1998. We manufacture a variety of products that serves customers in Oil and Gas, Mining, and construction. Diversified has a variety of machines consisting of CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Grinders, Manual Lathes, Manual Mills, Boring Mills and a welding and fabrication department.

We are currently looking for an individual with Machine shop experience, to head up our Quality control Department. We pay very competitive wages, and offer group benefits after 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities include

, but not limited to:

A high level of Experience and accuracy with a variety of measuring tools e.g., Calipers, Micrometers, and gauges, etc. A strong mathematics aptitude The ability to complete tasks safely and efficiently, while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Coordinates, compiles and files all documents from the various projects adhering to ISO 9001 - 2015. (QC/ISO related/NCR's current/NCR tracking spreadsheet) Ensures that all requirements of Quality Control program and MTR's are completed in a timely manner. A high level of competency in accurately completing work. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work well with others. Proficiency in reading and understanding engineered blueprints. Adhere to Safety policy, Quality policy and Production polices. Must have Forklift Training, Whmis and
