Qualifications:

Manufacturing, 1-2 years (Preferred) Precision Machine Shop 1-2 years (Preferred) Quality Control 1-2 years (Preferred)

Responsible to determine conformance to customer drawing and quality requirements through initial inspection, in-process machining audits, and final machining inspection as defined by inspection/test plans, and inspection reports. Maintains quality and safety standards, maintains clean organized work environment, including equipment and supplies, accurately completes all daily timesheets.

Responsibilities:

Preform incoming and final inspection of machined components using precision measurement devises, maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Documents actions by accurately completing reports, and quality logs. Completes inspection of machined parts by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference plans , locations of surfaces. Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprint including geometrical dimensioning and tolerance (GDT), and material specifications.
Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, bore gages, test indicators. Inspect machined workpieces to verify conformance to specifications. Maintains cleanliness of workstation and surrounding area. Lift and/ or move u to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Must process strong math skills and mechanical aptitude. Follows instructions both verbal and written. Use of Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer skills. Preferred candidate has experience with production type environment of machine shop.
Successful candidates should be detail oriented, with strong math skills and a strong attendance, and work history.

6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday, Starting range is depending on experience, possible rotating shifts.

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
