Job Summary

Numinus Bioscience is a licensed laboratory located in British Columbia. We are seeking a Quality Control Associate for a 2-month contract, with possibility for extension, to join us in our facility. It is one of the largest research facilities in Western Canada and a global leader in psychedelic research. Its purpose is to research and develop psychedelic formulations and methods, led by a team of specialized scientists using state-of-the-art equipment. Numinus Bioscience holds a Controlled Drugs and Substances license issued by Health Canada, through which it works with a range of psychedelic substances, including DMT, ketamine, LSD, MDMA, mescaline, psilocybin, psilocin.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Controlled Substances Inventory and Reporting
• Conduct Operational and Production Quality Control
• Write SOPs
• Equipment Management

Position Requirements:

• Experienced in either food, cannabis, natural products manufacturing and or analytical testing environments.
• Working knowledge of Quality Control Procedures
• Clean Criminal Record Check
• Experience in Standard Operating Procedure writing practices
• Experience in audit procedures

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Detail oriented
• Communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Database management
• The ability to closely follow quality standards
