Quality Control Associate (12 month contract)

to join our growing team!

The opportunity for you...



The Quality and Research & Development Department's one part of a company-wide collaborative effort ensuring AG's brand integrity, notably our made-without claims. This role will be responsible for all quality control tasks necessary to ensure that processes related to AG products and their life cycle are operating in compliance with AG's quality management system and applicable regional and international regulations such as GMP, Health Canada, FDA, and EU.

You'll be responsible for...



Conduct routine sampling and chemical/analytical/physical analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process product, bulk product, and finished product as required Administer the 'hold' and 'release' for raw materials, packaging materials, and purchased product Prepare documentation as required such as deviation, out of specification, non-conformance, rejection reports, etc. Prepare documentation for review and approval, such as processing reports, analytical reports, and SOPs. Execution of qualifications for any laboratory equipment as required. Revision of specifications for raw materials, packaging materials, bulk product, and finished products as required. Review, collect and organize raw material documentation such as CoAs, SDSs, TDSs, etc. Conduct stability analysis and prepare stability reports. Oversee and organize retention program and retention storage room. Provide admin and technical support to Quality department. Support QC laboratory equipment calibration requirements. Maintain QC laboratory and testing equipment. Other duties as assigned.

What you offer...



Bachelor of Science degree or diploma in Chemistry or related feild 1+ year experience in working in a lab environment, including but not limited to QA/QC and on-line inspection an asset Basic knowledge of GMP compliance in both laboratory and manufacturing functions an asset Excellent organization & communication skills - both verbal and written Solid problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and ability to understand scientific terminology Proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel Flexible and eager to learn a range of skills Passion and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to high quality products
