We are currently seeking a

Quality Analyst - Packaging Lab

to join our team of passionate employees.

The overall goal of this position is to support the HACCP system by conducting packaging integrity testing and verifying process compliance on the floor through record review and onsite observations.

Responsibilities:



Perform destructive can seam evaluation using Seam Scan System to identify possible defects and report concerns to maintenance for appropriate adjustment. Maintain accurate record of seam quality observations and related equipment adjustments. Conduct packaging integrity checks routinely on all production lines as defined in specifications to ensure products are in compliance to standards. Review images on specified lines that have x-rays to ensure our foreign material control program is effective. Review production records on the floor to verify compliance with the HACCP system prior to the release of stock. Investigate identified deviations to ensure food safety is not compromised. Perform analysis of packaging data to prevent out of compliance conditions and report Key Performance Indicators to management. Provide technical support to operations related to primary packaging quality and seal integrity. Provide troubleshooting support, collect data, and follow up with vendors. Support internal audit program/verification schedule through onsite observations of monitoring activities. Assist with training of employees as it relates to implementation and compliance to the HACCP system.

Requirements:



Experience in manufacturing and/or QA is an asset Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent time management skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Solid computer skills - Microsoft Office, SAP Basic understanding of HACCP
