Headquartered in Stoney Creek, the plants have design, mold, paint, assembly and testing capabilities. Tiercon manages 5 sites across 2 cities employing approximately 550 people throughout Canada. Tiercon is seeking knowledgeable, self-directed, experienced and hardworking individuals interested in the automotive industry as a Quality Auditor at our 352 Arvin Ave. Stoney Creek facility.


Job SummaryReporting Structure:


Reporting to the Assistant Quality Manager, the Quality Auditor is to audit and inspect production process for proper adherence to pre-assigned quality requirements.


Responsibilities:

Consistent Completion of Shift Reports Perform, document and communicate First Offs and In Process Provide documentation of first off logs per part number/shift basis Communicate Quality Alerts and generate training records Audit and inspect production process for proper adherence to pre-assigned quality systems Conduct (approve/reject) 1st sample inspection on all components: Colour match to standard Fit to gauge/fixture Match to appearance standard Packaging and label checks Audit error proofing functionality Complete monthly control plan audits Troubleshoot assembly quality issues Assist Quality Engineers with Supplier and Customer Non-Conformance process Assist in production reject analysis, disposition Assist production supervisor with ongoing quality issues, reject rate causes and instructions to operators Assist with implementation, ISO9001:2015 AND IATF 16949 responsibilities as per ISO9001:2015 AND IATF 16949 Quality Manual. Maintain of Quarantine Area, including inventory of items Incoming inspection of supplier components Completion of RMA requests, RMA Completions Training of assemblers on quality standards and customer specific requirements Review Assembler Instructions, provide feedback on need for document updates Support Overtime Needs for Production as needed Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Grade 12 or 2 years College in Quality / Manufacturing / Engineering related field or equivalent experience is an asset Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience, automotive experience preferred Analytical skills, Data driven Effective communication Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Applications Demonstrated working knowledge of hand tools and gauging equipment Attention to detail Capable of working all shifts.
