Our Windsor, Ontario location marks the exciting launch of our North American operations. As a newly established site in a well-established global business, our Windsor team operates with a startup mindset, backed by the resources and stability of an international organization. We're looking for an experienced Production Manager who is hands-on, strategic, and ready to play a key role in building and leading our production operations in Canada.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance / Quality Control Coordinator to oversee quality control and assurance processes in our vitamin and supplement manufacturing facility in Windsor, ON. This role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality systems to ensure compliance with Health Canada, GMP, and other applicable regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

Implement, monitor, and maintain the facility's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with GMP, Health Canada NNHPD (Natural and Non-prescription Health Products Directorate) regulations, and company SOPs.

Conduct internal audits and coordinate external inspections by regulatory agencies or clients.

Support the investigation of non-conformances, deviations, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and customer complaints.

Perform or coordinate testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

Maintain documentation related to product quality, including batch records, testing results, and certificates of analysis.

Review and approve batch production records (BPRs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and specifications.

Monitor sanitation, environmental controls, and allergen management programs.

Train production and warehouse personnel on quality procedures, GMP, and Health & Safety requirements.

Assist in the qualification and monitoring of suppliers and contract labs.

Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of raw materials and finished goods.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize QA processes and ensure product safety and efficacy.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



A post secondary diploma or degree in a science related program

2+ years of experience in a Quality position preferred

Knowledge and experience in a GMP facility preferred

Knowledge GMP regulations preferred

Experience in a Quality Control setting

Experience with analytical testing

Confidence and ability to make decisions regarding production.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
