The Quality Assurance Technician ensures that the Quality System of Maricann is in compliance with the Cannabis Act, EU-GMP and GPP guidelines. \xe2\x80\x93 Reports to Quality Assurance Manager. Key Job responsibilities, but not limited: \xc2\xb7 Ensure product quality over all GACP and GMP stages from cultivation, processing to packaging and storage. \xc2\xb7 Ensure cleaning and sanitation program is followed \xc2\xb7 Conduct quality inspections in operational area \xc2\xb7 QC sampling, -inspection and in-process controls \xc2\xb7 Maintenance of batch documents \xc2\xb7 Ensure production procedures are followed \xc2\xb7 Participate in quality evaluation, assessment and investigations \xc2\xb7 Assist QA manager with training and instruction for operations personnel \xc2\xb7 Other duties as required by quality management Education and Experience \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree in a science or pharmaceutical field preferred or minimum of three years demonstrated success in a Pharmaceutical, / NHP / Medical Cannabis industry in Quality Assurance / Quality Control / Regulatory Affairs / Compliance or equivalent environment. \xc2\xb7 Strong working knowledge of GPP requirements \xc2\xb7 Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and other Microsoft Office programs Core Competencies \xc2\xb7 Team player \xc2\xb7 Detail oriented with problem-solving ability to deliver on the QA mandate \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high performing team environment \xc2\xb7 Self-motivated; willingness to take initiative and accept responsibility with minimal direction \xc2\xb7 Flexible and adaptable to change \xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills are required ABOUT MARICANN INC.
