OverviewAre you a registered clinical counsellor or occupational therapist with experience in mental health program development and evaluation? We have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to liaise with and review external service provider programs and providers to support quality service for injured workers. Youll connect with clinical service providers throughout the province and prepare reports on your findings, participate on committees to relay recommendations on external providers, and work as a clinical resource on mental health services for internal and external stakeholders.How youll make a difference: Youll ensure we offer effective and evidence-based access to programs and services to help people recover when theyve been injured at work.Where youll workWorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.In this role, youll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in our Richmond office.What you\'ll do

• Field inquiries from both internal and external customers pertaining to the service delivery of your assigned programs
• Conduct visits (virtual and on-site) to external service providers to review the quality of WorkSafeBC funded clinical services being provided to injured workers and to ensure contractual compliance
• Assess relevant information regarding services and prepare reports on findings including outcome measures, compliance with expected standards, areas that require improvement, and recommendations on improvements required
• Work as part of a team to support innovative and evidenced-based mental health service delivery

• Maintain the currency of your professional skills by appropriate continuing education, such as accessing professional journals and attendance at lectures, conferences, courses, and professional meetings
• Travel to locations in BC and stay overnight as required

Your background and experience:

• A masters degree in psychology plus current registration with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors or the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association - and a minimum of three years of related health care experience, of which two years is recent experience as a practicing clinical counsellor
• Or a masters degree in occupational therapy plus current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC - and a minimum of three years of recent clinical experience in the mental health field, of which two years is recent experience as a practicing occupational therapist
• A valid BC drivers license
• Experience in a quality assurance and/or mental health program development/evaluation is an asset
