About the opportunity:
We're looking for talented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our global operations team. You'll have opportunities to contribute to Christie's high quality standards for product performance. You will be directly involved in the day-to-day manufacturing QA functions and help develop QA reports and standards which analyze current and historical trends, and initiate any required corrective and preventive action.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and administer all schedules, procedures, forms, audit test plans, checklists and reports used in QA process and product audits. Included in this responsibility is the QA Audit Log, which includes product audit data and statistical analysis.
Perform all checks, tests, measurements and observations in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures, to ensure conformance to product specifications.
Investigate, request and/or recommend corrective action for non-conformance problems as a result of process, product or system audit. Verify proper implementation of any corrective/ preventive action required.
Support and review Impound/Release procedure, forms and Impound Log.
Perform as Internal Auditor per the documented internal audit program for the purpose of assessing the effectiveness of the ISO9001 Quality System.
Evaluate and where requested, report on Pilot Runs for new software, interface and product introduction, and engineering changes.
Set up product demonstrations in Quality Assurance upon request for customer or supplier visits, product evaluation, and public tours.
Develop quality data statistics and reports to meet the needs of the Quality Manager.
Assist in defect analysis database inquiries as requested. Queries may relate to specific product or defect analysis, or training on data entry.
Support engineering in the design and development of reliability tests, test plans, statistics and reports.
Support servicing in the design and development of Global Field Service statistics and reports.
Keep management fully informed of activities and anything that may adversely affect the operation.
Perform assigned duties in a safe manner in accordance with company rules and policies regarding the production floor.

The experience and skills we value:
Technologist-level college diploma in Electronics, Mechanical, Optical or related discipline
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality assurance position or similar
Experience working in an ISO9001 Quality System organization
Knowledge of the impact of product changes in an engineering / manufacturing environment
Comprehension of optical, software and environmental testing
Knowledge of the organization of bill of material structures and parts specifications and product design
Experience using JD Edwards and Agile Systems
Knowledgeable in the methods of electronic and mechanical assembly as well as the proper use of electronic test equipment
What will put you ahead:
Certified Quality Technician
Strong skill set to develop and support quality core documentation such as Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Control Charts
Experience working with new product integration processes
