POSITION OVERVIEW

:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Quality Assurance Specialist to support Environmental Services division. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and perform a variety of quality control and assurance testing, ISO document control, data analysis, root cause analysis and manufacturing process improvements. This role will collaborate cross functionally, to support multiple departments and divisions.



RESPONSIBILITIES

:Develop framework for ISO 9001 compliant Business and Quality Management systems. Develop process maps to understand relationships between key processes (inputs, outputs, customers, suppliers). Conduct an audit or gap analysis to determine areas of non-compliance. Work with the Quality Manager to develop a plan to achieve compliance within a pre-determined timeframe. Work with the teams to develop key performance indicators for Management System Process. Develop suitable monitoring techniques to track performance and report performance to management team. Conduct studies on manufacturing processes and provide analysis as inputs for continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in manufacturing processes, sample creation along with internal sample testing and report writing.



QUALIFICATIONS

:Completion of a University degree in a technical field, Industrial Engineering is an asset. 5+ years working within a manufacturing environment. 5+ years working within the ISO 9001 management systems framework. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and ERP systems. Strong understanding of quality management systems, process writing and continuous improvements strategies.
