IVC Vita Health is Canada?s largest manufacturer and distributor of quality vitamins, herbal products, nutritional supplements and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals. Position: Quality Assurance Sampler Term Days: 7 A.M. -3 P.M. * Evenings: 3 P.M. ? 11 P.M. *Evening shift premium $0.80/hr* Reporting to the Quality Compliance Supervisor, this position is responsible for the sampling of all incoming raw materials, bulk products, and packaging components. Responsibilities/Duties: ? Verifies quantity and identity of incoming raw materials, bulk products, packaging components, and refuses any damaged materials ? Samples incoming raw materials, bulk products, and packaging materials, according to a defined statistical sampling plan, and completes all required documentation. ? Samples returned products and retest requests ? Applies applicable labels to containers according to procedures ? Submits samples to QC Lab or QA. ? Cleans the sample booth ? Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: ? Grade 12 education or equivalent ? 1 year of related Quality experience and knowledge of GMP regulations preferred ? Good written and verbal communication skills ? Heavy lifting required ? Previous Lift Truck experience an asset Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract Salary: $19.00 per hour Benefits:
