Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Quality Assurance Technician

to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. The QA Technician will play a vital role in maintaining food safety, conducting routine inspections, monitoring compliance, and supporting the implementation of quality programs in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products Conduct pre-operational and operational sanitation inspections Collect and test samples (e.g., microbiological, allergen, moisture) as per schedule Document findings accurately and maintain QA records and logs Assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions Prepare Quality Assurance Reports Support implementation of food safety programs Support internal audits, customer audits, and third-party certifications (BRCGS) Ensure adherence to GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and food safety programs Calibrate and verify equipment and instruments Participate in training programs and team meetings

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in a QA role within the food manufacturing industry preferred Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, allergen control, and food safety regulations Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment Good communication and problem-solving abilities Flexibility to work various shifts and occasional weekends as required
