As a Quality Assurance Program Group Leader, you will be responsible for the overall quality assurance program application of fabrication, repair, and construction work for our Saint John Refinery. Through leadership and support, you will be an active solution provider and partner with engineering, asset Integrity, projects solutions and capital projects. Your success will be measured based on compliance against the Irving Oil quality program as well as against compliance to all applicable Acts and Regulations.

Your Responsibilities:
Develop and continuously evolve Quality Assurance programs in compliance with jurisdictional requirements, industry codes and standards, and RAGAGEP.
Provide Leadership and support with implementation and continuous compliance of programs through knowledge transfer methods (i.e. training, memos, lunch and learns, etc.)
Act as main liaison to NB SCS Chief inspector (Jurisdictional Authority)
Act as the main liaison to NB Energy & Utilities Board.
Develop, and manage auditing procedures and processes for all Mechanical Integrity programs.
Track auditing schedule, schedule compliance and action items
Assist with the development and execution of the Quality Assurance Plan for Turnarounds
Create and Manage Quality Assurance plans for all major capital and major expense work.
Support the Asset Integrity Program through visual leadership, solution partnering, and education.
Act as company representative on New Brunswick Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Advisory Committee
Review and approve capital and expense engineering and procurement documentation to ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures, processes, and expectations.
Ensure fabrication, repair, maintenance contractors Quality Assurance programs are compliant and acceptable.
Maintain, track and assist in disposition resolution to all Non Conforming Reports
Prepares, reviews and approves the Company and Departmental Inspection procedures, and audits the standards and procedures to ensure they are implemented.
Monitors the performance of Field, NDE, and Inspection Contractors - through the Quality Assurance and API Inspectors.
Perform documented audits in accordance with the Irving Oil Quality Manual and audit schedule.
Support IOMS from a Quality Assurance perspective.
Your Skills:
Technical competency as demonstrated by qualifications and certifications, or education in applicable areas of expertise.
Leadership and mentoring skills.
Ability to influence with and without authority.
Ability to travel for plant visits (80% in field), at locations throughout New England, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.
Strong knowledge of company standards, industry recommended practices, codes and standards and specific computer applications.
Development of inspection plans
Your Experience:
10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the following areas:
Fixed equipment, piping and associated fabrication, repair, inspection techniques and practices.
welding technical and practical.
Project and budget management experience.
API certifications, CWB certification, ASME certification, NDE certifications
P.Eng. would be an asset.
