We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance our company's quality management systems within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will lead quality control initiatives, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement to deliver exceptional products. Duties
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and audits of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process improvement.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish quality standards and ensure adherence throughout production cycles.
Manage a team of QA/QC personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
Conduct regular internal audits and coordinate external inspections to ensure compliance.
Oversee project management initiatives related to quality improvement projects and new product launches.
Report on quality metrics to senior management and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices in quality management across departments.
Skills
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to manufacturing processes.
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing operations combined with expertise in quality control, inspection, and assurance techniques.
Proven experience in quality management systems (QMS), including ISO standards or similar frameworks.
Excellent project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Effective leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
Proficiency in QA/QC tools and software for data collection and reporting.
Strong communication skills for clear documentation, reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders. This position is integral to maintaining the highest standards of product quality while supporting our company's commitment to excellence in manufacturing processes.
