As part of the Research and Development function, the global Cloud DevOps team combines software development and cloud operations to provide continuous integration and delivery of cloud-enabled products and solutions. Responsible for deployment and continuous monitoring to ensure various cloud-specific customer requirements/SLAs are met.

As part of the Research and Development function, the global Cloud DevOps team combines software development and cloud operations to provide continuous integration and delivery of cloud-enabled products and solutions. Responsible for deployment and continuous monitoring to ensure various cloud-specific customer requirements/SLAs are met.
As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will utilise your experience to continually improve the quality and security posture of AVEVA\xe2\x80\x99s Cloud solutions, as well as lead and implement test design and test plans and continuous improvements to the operations following proper Root Cause Analysis. You will also support and guide the Cloud DevOps teams and create best quality practice templates and processes.
Working closely with your development and portfolio colleagues, together you will bring new solutions to the cloud following a standard framework to ensure they are operationally secure with unnegotiable quality.
The global, 24x7 nature of the team means there may be a requirement for occasional work outside of the standard day and to be on call.

In this role you will:

Be responsible for the overall quality within the global team.

Provide guidance, leadership, and training to all QA members integrated into the CDO teams and ensure consistency of our built-in quality efforts across all teams.

Responsible for assigning competing solutions and priorities.

Define test plans.

Define the test automation strategy.

Define the Performance, Scalability, Reliability strategy.

Recommend and implements test tools in cloud.

Ensure test results are recorded, available, and report test status to stakeholders.

Track and report on key Quality metrics and incidents.

Use Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve CDO\xe2\x80\x99s quality.

Guide the entire team towards a culture of built-in quality and continuous improvement using LEAN principals.

Work with the teams to ensure that User Stories are testable.

Perform internal audits periodically to ensure that the department is adhering to practices.

Required Qualifications:

Subject matter expert on quality best practices.

Experienced Root Cause Analysis conductor.

Experience with incident and incident management.

Experience managing a quality assurance software product organization.

Experience with performance, scalability, reliability testing.

Able to observe bottlenecks in process and then develop processes and procedures to overcome them.

Independent decision maker \xe2\x80\x93 develop ideas and proposals to suggest changes and make decisions.

Experience managing remote employees and/or offices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with QA Test Automation.

Experience with source control management systems.

Experience with either Azure or AWS cloud providers and solutions.
