Job Description


Quality Coordinator - Roles & Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and maintains systems to ensure conformance to customer requirements. Co-ordinate layouts, process flow, PFMEAs, control plans, inspection plans and other quality documentation to ensure processes are in place which will provide optimum product quality.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
\xe2\x9d\x96 Builds Control Plans, Inspection Plans and PFMEAs from scratch for new launches.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Develop optimized processes through continuous upgrading of Control Plans and Process Inspection Sheets.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Leads Safe Launch plans & implementation. Co-ordinates activities for all new launches.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Coordinate all SPC and Process Capability studies with respect to manufacturing processes.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Acts as a customer liaison for all assigned launches and quality concerns.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Maintains gauge calibration/MSA system.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Evaluates in-process and analytical data, performs root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for process related concerns.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Uses 8D (Or similar as directed by the customer) for problem solving methodology and for product and process improvement.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Assists in the installation, training and startup of new projects, QA Training, and vendor PSW/PPAP\xe2\x80\x99s.

\xe2\x9d\x96 Prepare and maintain quality management documentation as PPAP, COC, COA, SOP, and SDS

\xe2\x9d\x96 Coordinate incoming complaints including allocating the complaints to the appropriate department for investigation and tracking resolution times.

\xe2\x9d\x96 Support the QM with internal and external audits. Ensure preparation and compliance for second party and third-party audits.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Implement and monitor continuous improvement functionality and prepare reports for the Quality Management Meeting to allow for an analysis and identification of linked compliance relationships.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Develop and implement Record Management Policies and Procedures, including retention and disposal of records and support the document management system to operate effectively.
\xe2\x9d\x96 Promote and educate on good document management practices i.e. Document creation, approval, publishing, review, archive, disposal, storage and recall.

\xe2\x9d\x96 Other duties, consistent with skills and experience, as directed by the QA manager.
