Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA coordinator will perform quality audits and in-process checks on the co-pack production line.



Perform regular quality checks on the production floor to ensure production meets client's standards for accuracy. Record and report on the outcomes of the quality audits to the QA Supervisor. Work closely with all departments to ensure staff are working in compliance with client expectations and GMP's. Ensure GMP requirements and regulations per operating procedures are being respected. Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and effectively. Prepare and revise documents in accordance with an established target date. Ensure all documentation complies with current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines. Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance of documents before submission. Assist with the preparation of external quality audits (i.e.: Health Canada). Assist in creating and maintaining an environment that promotes positive communication within the facility as well as fostering teamwork within the operation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Other duties as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:



QA Certification, degree in food science, pharmaceutical or related discipline from a recognized College. 2 years' experience working in a similar role. Some experience with quality standards and GMP in a production environment is an asset.
