Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday - 7:30AM - 4:00PM

Position Summary:

Reporting to Quality Assurance Metalforming Technical Support, be able to use desktop with Microsoft Office to support technical project and administrative tasks.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs duties to repair and maintain metalforming Quality Control fixtures Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect, order and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to Quality Control Fixtures Perform regular preventative maintenance Follows all safety requirements - PPE (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protections, gloves, etc), safe job behaviours, etc. Other duties as assigned

What You Need:

Enrolled in engineering co-operative education in a post-secondary school Hands on experience in automotive parts manufacturing environment is preferred but not required Have a basic theoretic understanding of the following:
- GD&T

- Metal Stamping processes

- Inspection Fixtures

Ability to read and understand operations standards, blueprints, maintenance and equipment manuals, etc Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams, and Project) Strong mechanical understanding Strong written and verbal communication May be required to lift up to 40 lbs on occasions

Work Environment:

Plant Environment May be exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
