Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Quality Assurance Associate

to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Quality Assurance department in maintaining compliance with Health Canada regulations, internal procedures, and international standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development, review, and implementation of SOPs, policies, and quality systems. Support internal audits, vendor qualification, and inspection readiness. Perform document control, including issuance, review, and archival of quality-related records. Conduct batch record reviews and ensure timely product release in compliance with regulations. Participate in deviation, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), and change control processes. Monitor environmental conditions and ensure compliance with GPP/GMP standards. Support training programs related to quality systems and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, Regulatory, etc.) to drive quality culture.
Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a GMP/GPP-regulated environment (pharmaceutical, food, or cannabis industry). Strong knowledge of Health Canada cannabis regulations and GMP principles. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
