As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue and Airborne law enforcement agencies. From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.

Primary Responsibilities

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7This is for the WEEKEND SHIFT. There will a period of training on the day shift.

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Compile and analyze quality performance data

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Develop graphs, charts and quality reports

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Coordinate with Production, Program Management and Engineering to conduct product failure analysis

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Liaise with customers and Customer Service on quality matters and act as the customer\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s representative in the certification of systems

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Perform internal spot audits related to the (BPMS) Business Process Management System

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Responsible to support incoming, in-process and final inspection tests

Desired Education and Experiences

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO-9001 processes

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Basic understanding of statistical analysis and reporting

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Experience in process quality control and product testing

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Visio, Word, Excel, Graphing)

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Product-related software functionality

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Basic knowledge and understanding of the Opto-Electro-Mechanical assembly processes

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Experience with Lean Six Sigma process improvement concepts (i.e. root cause analysis, DMAIC)

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Process orientated mindset

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Minimum 5-7 years\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99 experience in a technical capacity
