Position Overview As a Quality Assurance Analyst with Fonemed, you will contribute to the evolution of our robust suite of cloud-native applications in the rapidly growing healthcare software industry. You will be a member of an agile product development team working collaboratively with others to develop software that sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities. You will work with product managers and developers to improve our software design and end user experience. What you will do
  • Prepare test plans
  • Work closely with project team members to define and refine testing requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure traceability to solution requirements and specifications to ensure optimal test coverage
  • Prepare and maintain test data
  • Create, execute and maintain automated and manual test scripts
  • Log defects in defect tracking tools
  • Manage defects through the defect lifecycle
  • Report test results to stakeholders
  • Plan, monitor, and control testing activities and tasks during User Acceptance Testing
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in software testing, preferably working in an agile team
  • Experience working with modern web technologies such as JSON, HTTP2, and WebSocket\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Experience testing modern RESTFUL APIs
  • Experience with modern testing frameworks for Node, Python, React native, React is considered an asset
  • Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and Health Level 7 (HL7) is considered an asset
  • Experience testing cloud-native, scalable, and highly available distributed systems is considered an asset
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services is considered an asset
  • CAST, CSQA, or ISTQB certification is considered an asset
  • Comfortable communicating with other developers, clinical, and operations staff to solve open-ended problems
  • Interest in doing mission-oriented work especially in the healthcare space
