Quality Assurance Analyst
Jonas Software – Construction Division
The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible to ensure the progressive enhancements to the legacy Jonas Software products meet design specifications and are within quality limits and standards. Make sure the integrations with the core application work as per defined communication protocol. The role involves continuous learning and requires adaptability to agile development and testing techniques.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the core responsibilities of the position are to:

• Understanding requirements and creating test plans
• Define test objectives
• Write and update test scripts
• Perform functional, application, regression, and performance tests in a timely manner
• Liaison with product developers and technical support specialists regarding product issues and quick resolution

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• University or College educated or equivalent
• Action-oriented professional with an accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or CGA) - have or working to obtain a designation is a distinct advantage
• Minimum 2 years related experience – QA testing and/or support experience
• Prior experience with and ERP preferably Construction industry specific
• ISTQB certified or equivalent certification able to demonstrate required technical skills
• Hands on experience with relation databases, querying and troubleshooting
• Experience testing client server, desktop, web applications and mobile applications
• Maintains composure and a positive attitude, can handle stress and doesn’t show frustration when resisted or blocked
• Good practical knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
• Strong problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and innovative team player – can take charge and drive change with good conflict management skills
• Excellent organizational skills – have the ability for timely decision making, problem solving and execution of a number of complex tasks in a deadline-oriented environment
• Demonstrate a willingness for technical learning: researching new QA techniques; self-development of technical knowledge and skills to do with the job
