Through the collective power of partnerships, Pathways to Education\'s innovative program is preparing youth for tomorrow.The OpportunityAs a key member of the Technology team, you will help lead strategic initiatives that leverage technology and digital transformation in creating products and platforms to help the organization sustainably scale its impact. Reporting to the Manager, Solutions Architecture, this is a six-month consulting contract role (with the possibility of extension) focused on ensuring that the new technology developed meets business requirements and is of high quality.As the successful candidate, you are fluent in both official languages (English and French), and have demonstrated experience implementing systematic, professional testing for enterprise-grade technology solutions. You are skilled in identifying defects early, contributing to the reduction of costs in fixes and the risk of project delays. By establishing and executing industry standard quality assurance testing processes, you will ensure test consistency and comprehensiveness to help optimize solutions in support of young people across Canada.What You\'ll Do

• Design detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product specifications and requirements to ensure software quality.
• Provide detailed reports to the development team for resolution and verify fixes in subsequent releases.
• Manage and improve the internal translation process for UX copy to increase translation quality and implementation efficiency.
• Review UX copy to ensure that translations are implemented correctly.
• Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing with Pathways Program Partners to ensure user stories and business requirements are met.

What You Bring

• University degree or College certificate in an information technology-related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) tester performing regression, integration, and functional testing.
• Experience with testing SaaS type solutions, major test management, test automation tools, SQL, and scripting.
• Experience creating test plans, writing, and executing test cases, and documenting results.
• Proactive approach to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Software development experience, such as C#, Angular, and Microsoft Azure, is an asset.
• Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence is an asset.
• Experience with test automation and industry standard testing tools is a major asset.
• Proficiency in both English and French is a requirement for this position.
