The Cahill Group is seeking collaborative and motivated candidates for a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our team for a 12-month maternity leave replacement position in St. John's, NL. In this role, you will work Monday through Friday from our corporate office.This exciting opportunity will allow you to support our dynamic QHSE team and play a pivotal role in assisting with the maintenance, internal/external audits, and performance of Cahill's Quality Management System (QMS). You will also administer and promote processes for managing Quality Incidents to ensure processes are maintained and promoted while adhering to company standards.As a Quality Assurance Administrator with Cahill, you demonstrate excellent communication skills by building professional working relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers to assist in the customer satisfaction survey process. You will also collaborate with internal departments to support project close-out initiatives of our key scopes of work by organizing, preparing, and publishing project completion documentation.What will you do?

  • Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards through regular internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with SAI Global to arrange and manage yearly audit schedules.
  • Support internal project audits based on risk assessment and internal schedules, ensuring alignment with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Dashboard.
  • Administer and promote processes for managing Quality Incidents, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
  • Assist in the maintenance the Cahill Supplier List database, ensuring it is current and risk-ranked to facilitate audit readiness.
  • Assist with subcontractor management processes, including audits according to risk profiles.
  • Ensure quality documentation is controlled and up-to-date on the corporate intranet.
  • Assist with the customer satisfaction survey process, ensuring feedback is effectively communicated and used to address both positive and negative responses.
  • Support project teams in close-out activities by organizing, preparing, and publishing project completion documentation.
  • Coordinate project lessons-learned sessions as indicated by the ELT Dashboard, working alongside the QHSE Advisor and other departments, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and distribute quality-related communications, including bulletins, letters, and memos.
  • Assist/facilitate Quarterly Management Review meetings to assess quality performance.
  • Perform additional quality-related administrative tasks as required.
What will you bring?
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar Quality role.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 certification standard and audit processes; experience within an ISO-certified organization is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR), Corrective Action Reporting (CAR), customer survey processes, and supplier approvals is considered an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Solid experience in technical and procedural writing, as well as editing skills and audit preparation support.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
