Tasks

Conduct liquid penetrant inspection Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects Interpret and document liquid penetrant inspection Prepare surface for liquid penetrant inspection Establish NDI techniques and calibration standards Calibrate, test and interpret ultrasonic equipment Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations Instruct and supervise trainees Maintain test result reports Operate testing equipment to maintain quality of products Determine staffing requirements Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports Verify equipment's efficiency Perform pre-operational inspection Inspect processes Conduct quality audits
