-- not just fluency in French. Please only apply if you have a background in education and a strong understanding of language acquisition for children.

What You'll Do

Teach live, interactive French classes on Zoom to students aged 4-12 at beginner and intermediate levels. Use engaging methods to teach listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Create a warm, positive learning environment that encourages participation and builds student confidence. Add your own creative touch while following our proven curriculum. Collaborate with our team to adapt and create materials as needed. Provide feedback to parents and communicate student progress when requested. Upload your class materials (provided and/or customized) at least 48 hours in advance. Use tech confidently: online platforms, learning tools, and shared folders are part of the job.

Who We're Looking For

A qualified French teacher with

teaching certification or a degree in French, education, or a related field.

At least 1 year of experience

teaching French in a classroom, tutoring, or online setting. Someone who loves working with kids, from playful preschoolers to curious teens. Clear communicator in English (most of our parents are English-speaking). Confident, creative, and energetic , you know how to make learning fun without losing structure. Comfortable working independently and able to manage time, prep, and communication reliably.

Bonus if you have:

Experience working with homeschoolers or in virtual classrooms. Familiarity with LMS or digital teaching tools. Knowledge of early childhood education or special education practices.

The Details

Remote, part-time

position (set class times based on mutual availability). You'll mainly teach students from the U.S and Canada. All applicants must be legally able to work from their country and manage their own taxes. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF CANADA.
