What you will do:
Design, write, and execute both automated and manual test plans for plugin functionality, performance, and stability within creative and video workflows
Test workflows, features, and fixes for host applications (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) as they are developed, providing timely and actionable feedback to developers and product managers
Build representative, real-world creative projects in host applications to validate workflows from an end-user perspective
Collaborate closely with software developers, designers, and product managers to ensure releases meet quality standards before shipping
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support continuous integration and minimize regression issues
Document test plans, test cases, and defect reports; track quality metrics, regression results, and test coverage
Participate in process-improvement discussions with QA peers and leadership to continuously refine testing practices
Troubleshoot and debug issues, working directly with development teams to isolate and resolve
What we are looking for:
Strong QA fundamentals: test planning, case writing, execution, and clear bug reporting
Proven experience testing creative video applications such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Resolve
Solid understanding of video rendering, processing, and playback, including how to validate effects, color, performance, and compatibility
Automation experience and/or coding skills (preferably Python)
Comfortable working on both Windows and macOS platforms
Experience working in agile development workflows (Scrum, Kanban, or similar)
Excellent communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and a strong focus on user experience
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Red Giant tools and background in motion graphics, compositing, VFX, or professional video editing workflows
Good knowledge of TestRail for test management
Knowledge of GPU-accelerated effects and media file formats
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins)
