WHAT YOU\'LL DO:
  • Create, deploy and monitor test strategies on a wide variety of complex technology projects and platforms
  • Work with our various delivery teams, including product management, UX and engineering, to provide responsive service and to evangelize for a culture of quality in everything we do
  • Work directly with software engineering and other technical resources to ensure alignment of test cases with unit tests, appropriate triaging of defects, root cause analysis, etc.
  • Perform whitehat analysis and testing based on a solid understanding of application security best practices and standards
  • Provide robust company-level reporting and analysis of defects to better prioritize mitigation efforts
  • Lead the quality assurance team, advocate for robust replicable QA processes, and leverage industry-standard QA tooling
WHAT YOU\'LL NEED:
  • Minimum 5 years as a successful Quality Assurance Manager, managing and mentoring QA resources and working directly with software engineering staff
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard QA methodologies, processes and tooling
  • Comfortable looking under the hood with querying and diagnostic tools like Postman, NewRelic and/or HoneyBadger
  • Familiar with performance benchmarks and optimization for web-based and mobile applications, e.g. SEO best practices, Google Analytics, Jetpack
  • Deep expertise with automated testing processes
  • Exposure to security standards such as OWASP and SOC2
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with structured task management using online tools like Jira, ClickUp, Notion, Trello, etc.
  • Self-motivated to take initiative and ownership of your work
  • A user-centric mindset throughout the product development process, informed by experience in end user testing and iterative feedback loops
  • Up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices, open to new tools and methodologies, and passionate about best practices
WHAT WE\'D ALSO LOVE TO SEE:
  • Experience overseeing and participating in a robust technical quality audit
  • Prior experience as a developer and/or a level of comfort with code, application architecture, database optimization, systems design, cloud architecture, CI/CD and or hardware/IoT
  • Experience as an entrepreneur, particularly in the SaaS world; we love people who\'ve started their own ventures, big or small
  • Early adopter of new technology and gadgets
