We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within our organization, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Quality Assurance program for the facility.
Maintain, improve, and audit the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001/ AS9100, and CSA N299 standards.
Support audits by customers, third-party registrars, and regulatory bodies.
Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
Oversee internal audit programs, corrective and preventive actions, and management review processes, as well as auditing of subcontractors as required.
Create and submit QA document packages and history files as required by customers.
Create Purchase Orders for subcontractors.
Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues and support root cause analysis.
Lead the training and development of the quality team, including inspectors or auditors as applicable.
Serve as the primary quality liaison with customers and suppliers on quality issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Monitor quality metrics, analyze trends, and report results to senior management.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a quality leadership role in manufacturing, machining, or fabrication environments.
In-depth knowledge of:
ISO 9001 / AS9100
Quality Management Systems
CSA N299
(N299.3 & N299.4)
Familiarity with
NQA-1
and
NCA-3800
standards considered a strong asset.
Demonstrated experience with audits (internal and external).
Strong experience with inspection tools (verniers, micrometers, FARO arms, etc)
Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g. root cause analysis, corrective action, risk management, FMEA).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
[Optional: Experience with CNC machining, welding, assembly processes.]
