Role:
In
collaboration
with the members of the engineering and production teams, you will be called upon to use your
technical expertise
to
manage, guide
and
train
all aspects of the QA / QC department, at both of our company locations.
Tasks:
Supervise and manage
the proper functioning of the QA and QC departments;
Lead and participate in the realization of
process improvement
projects by significantly increasing work efficiency;
Meet your colleagues for a little
coffee break
in our multifunctional cafeteria;
Train
and guide supervisors and employees to ensure proper understanding and application of the
QA and QC procedures
;
Maintain and promote the
ISO 9001:2015
certification
and ensure the sustainability of the certifications in force;
Inspection
and verification of pieces;
Participate in one (or many!)
team activities;
Define and monitor quality management tools in Boucherville and Plattsburgh;
Participate in the
selection and evaluation
of suppliers.
Requirements:
You:
Have a
university certificate
in quality assurance or
equivalent experience
;
Have a
minimum
of 8 years of relevant experience;
Knowledge of technical quality control standards (IPC/WHMA-A-620 (wiring), metrology, tests);
Knowledge of P-FMECA, CMMI, PPM
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and control points
Knowledge of materials and techniques (machining, fabrication, assembly);
Master the ISO 9001:2008 and 9001:2015 standards;
Bilingual
both written and spoken English/French - non-negotiable;
Strong
communication
skills (individual & group)
The candidate must also be
willing to travel
occasionally to Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia
