A Snapshot of Your Day

The Quality Assurance Inspector works closely with Production and Engineering teams, to do incoming inspection and final inspection of materials and Instrument Transformers to comply with technical requirements. These include and are not limited to performing visual, electrical, and dimensional checks of finished products as per manufacturing procedures, drawings, and shop order documentation to implement a Zero-Defect culture.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

• Perform final inspection of manufactured products in compliance to the manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings and shop order documentation.
• Use SAP to Verify drawings, documents and release units to crate and ship.
• Use mechanical and electrical measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, tape measures, multimeters, and megohmmeters to perform inspections.
• Assemble documentation related to final inspection of units, crates, parts, and review all documentation for accuracy related to sales order.
• Maintain and verify Quality check list of process and products.
• Raise identified non-conformances in Intelex and ensure their closure.
• Have the flexibility to work with all production schedules.

What You Bring

• Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Material Science or a similar discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in Quality Control, preferably in automotive, aerospace, power generation or manufacturing industries.
• You have experience of performing inspection, managing non-conformities and reading GD&T.
• Yor are open minded, results & solution oriented and strong analytical thinking, with strong communication skills.
• Focused and target-driven with computer usage of MSOffice applications as well as SAP Materials Management and Quality Management modules.
• Must have the ability to converse, read and write fluently in English to follow verbal instructions and written documentation related to the position and the workplace, as well as complete any required paperwork.
• Must be safety and quality conscious and be a team player.
