Coordinates quality/workability/design with CCSC1 & OCSC departments, manufacturing sites and customer QA staff by responding to concerns, coordinating QA visits and preparing documentation specific for customer quality/workability/design concerns on daily basis.
Assist warehouse and sorting / rework operations as needed. Oversee completion of sort standards for responsible products. Participate in rework meetings, complete documentation as necessary to comply with ISO/IATF requirements.
Support Quality documentation and plans for new model/model/Minor design changes according to SEWS procedures and customer requirement. Assure customer milestones for new model activity are met with timely document submissions to achieve smooth launch. This includes visit to manufacturing plants to ensure plant side readiness.
Monitor customer's and internal trial and mass production activities and provide feedback to applicable SEWS sections for drawing or process improvement. Support customer request for design change investigations.
Support CCSC2 QA departmental requirements with SEWS safety compliance policies are followed/implemented in the QA area with quarantine and monitor all rejected material to ensure no flow-out to maintain CCSC2 inventory balance.
Monitor trials and support manufacturing plant trial activities for design changes or internal SEWS/SWS changes working with KCSC/manufacturing plants with preparation of PCR related documents and submit them to TCCM in timely manner to achieve approval for current mass production changes.
Initiate the investigation of actual parts to minimize customer's claim and any potential defect flow-out reported from SEWS internal facilities with performing checks on actual parts, coordinate for containment action as required and dock audit to confirm CM effectiveness.
Train as ISO/IATF internal auditor for CCSC2 to monitor and feedback ISA/IATF requirements working with SEWS Quality management team with participation in scheduled internal/external Audits to maintain ISO/IATF certification.
Other duties as assigned to support CCSC2 requirements to support CBU and SEWS Canada business overall.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering
1-3 years experience in QA or Engineering Field in a tier 1 automotive supplier or equivalent working experiences.
English/Spanish or English/Japanese Bilingual preferred
Skilled in the areas of task management and organization
Excellent verbal/written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
